In the summer of 2026, two commercial apprentices and one laboratory apprentice successfully completed their apprenticeships at MOTOREX. In one-on-one interviews, they share insights into their apprenticeships—what shaped their experience, which tasks they particularly enjoyed, and why they would recommend an apprenticeship at MOTOREX to others.

No matter what happens, don’t give up. Challenges are part of any apprenticeship, and everyone experiences them. Things won’t always be easy or run perfectly. The most important thing is to stay committed and not give up. In the end, everything will work out.

We especially enjoyed the variety between the different departments. This allowed us to gain a lot of experience, take on different tasks, and assume responsibility. We were also very well prepared for the final exams. We greatly appreciated the strong support from our practical trainers.

We would definitely recommend an apprenticeship at MOTOREX. Throughout the entire training period, you are supported and guided by competent practical trainers. We particularly appreciate our vocational trainer, who always advocates for the apprentices and is available whenever questions or problems arise. Additionally, working in all six departments is varied, interesting, and educational, allowing you to gain many different experiences.

Yes, definitely. We could ask questions at any time, no matter how often. We also received strong academic support. There were tutoring sessions, and to prepare for the final exams, we were able to complete mock exams at the company. That helped us a lot.

We became more independent, learned how to prioritize our tasks, and took responsibility for our own work. These skills developed very well during our apprenticeship at MOTOREX.

Fjolla: I would like to attend a higher technical college in business administration and continue working as an administrative professional.

Christian: I want to become a project manager and will start a corresponding course in autumn.

I am very interested in development in the Clean & Care sector, and I also enjoyed working in quality assurance.

I was able to learn a lot of new things. The rotation through six departments gave me insights into different areas of work.

Even when things get difficult or you’re not always motivated, you should push through — it gets better. It’s normal to like some departments more than others. That’s why it’s important to stay motivated and always give your best.

It never gets boring because you switch departments every six months and constantly learn new things. If you work reliably, you quickly get responsibility — a valuable experience for the future. It’s also exciting to work in a real laboratory where there can be pressure, because you’re part of an important process and need to function as a team. That’s very different from spending three years in a training lab.

Very well. Whenever I had questions, they were explained clearly, and new tasks were shown to me properly. Academic support was a bit more challenging because for many trainers, school had been a long time ago. However, I received strong support for the practical final exam — I was allowed to take two full months to prepare for it at the company. That helped me a lot.

I definitely learned to take responsibility. Over time, I also became more open, more confident in talking to others, and more comfortable sharing my own ideas.

All the experiences from the different departments — they will definitely help me in the future. Also the knowledge of how quality assurance and development processes work and how all the data is documented.
