23-year-old Justina K. Iilonga from Namibia is a university student in the third year of her Bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Her internship at MOTOREX in Langenthal took her to unfamiliar territory—geographically and professionally. Thanks to B360 education partnerships, which provides guest lecturer placements at African universities for volunteer experts from Europe and organizes internships in Switzerland for African students, she was able to fill three months with unforgettable professional, cultural and interpersonal experiences. Assigned to the laboratory, she worked enthusiastically to develop her knowledge of machining fluids for the metalworking industry. “Lubricants are super interesting and the international team in the lab were able to answer every single one of my questions”, Justina told us delightedly. Looking to the future, she plans to apply her new skills in her studies and, later on, in her career, when she may even become an entrepreneur in Namibia. This was the third internship MOTOREX had offered through B360 and, like the others, it was a great success.
