Motorcycle manufacturer KTM has wrapped up the quality assessment of its partners for the year 2017. The result: MOTOREX repeats its success from the previous years, once again winning the «KTM Supplier Quality Excellence Award 2017.» This means the lubrication experts retain their rating as «A+ suppliers» compliant with the most exacting standards of the motorcycle manufacturer.

«MOTOREX being decorated once again as ‘A+ Supplier’ is another impressive confirmation of the close bond between the two brands,» says Ronald Kabella, MOTOREX Director Powersports. “For 15 years, MOTOREX and KTM have been working hand in hand in research and development, celebrating numerous successes in racing and delivering convincing quality products for their customers that meet the most demanding quality requirements.»

MOTOREX and KTM: Standard products benefit from racing know-how

The close bond between MOTOREX and KTM originated in the year 2003. Besides the initial lubrication of all standard motorcycles made in Mattighofen, this cooperation also comprises a successful commitment to motor sport. In offroad racing, both brands rush together from once successful milestone to the next: at the Dakar Rally, both companies pulled off an unprecedented string of 16 victories since 2003. Then there is a plethora of titles in many different Motocross series. Only last year, KTM rider Tony Cairoli secured the MXGP World Championship trophy. In the MX2 World Championships of 2016 and 2017, two more KTM riders, Jeffrey Herlings and Pauls Jonass, also rode all the way to the top. In addition, MOTOREX supports the KTM factory team in MotoGP as technical partner.

This successful commitment to racing also benefits the customers. The research and development departments of both companies make use of the know-how won under extreme conditions, incorporating it immediately in their regular products.
