Oil analyses were used to continuously measure, evaluate and record values such as the degree of acidification, fuel condensate, sludge and other parameters. The current standard EN 14214 / EN 590, which specifies a maximum proportion of 7 % biodiesel (B7), was taken into account. The interim results are clear: all the values are so far unremarkable and show, regardless of the manufacturer, that the rapidly biodegradable NEXUS FE ECO SAE 5W/30 motor oil with sustainable ingredients is proving its worth in practice. The carbon footprint of the truck fleet will decrease significantly thanks in no small part to the fuel-saving, smooth running characteristics of the fuel economy motor oil.
