EV fluids ensure performance, reliability, and durability. Although the transmission systems of electric vehicles differ only slightly, many manufacturers approve their own specific oils. MOTOREX recognized this development early on and adopted a technology-open approach: existing products were reviewed, and new solutions for electric vehicles were specifically developed.
As a pioneer, MOTOREX is setting new standards with innovative EV fluids and optimized manufacturing processes. The principle is clear: new developments are not always necessary – proven products can often be used successfully. This way, electric vehicles also benefit from the existing product range.
For better orientation, EV products are divided into two categories. This simplifies application, ensures compatibility, and maximizes product safety. With the categories EV APPROVED and ONLY FOR EV, workshops receive reliable guidance in an increasingly complex market.
EV APPROVED
The specially tested and proven products are certified for both electric vehicles and combustion engine vehicles.
ONLY FOR EV
The specially developed products meet the specific requirements of electric vehicles. They are designed with a future-oriented approach and intended exclusively for use in EVs.
In the “Only for EV” category, two coolants represent this new development approach: COOLANT EV-A6.7 with particularly low electrical conductivity for closed circuits such as fuel or battery cells, and COOLANT EV-C6.3, designed for applications in strong electromagnetic fields, for example in motor or battery modules. It combines higher conductivity with up to 40 times better dielectric properties compared to conventional coolants.
