MOTOREX DIRT MANIA took place in Reisersberg for the fourth time in a row. A team of five trainers led by Manuel Lettenbichler passed on their experience in the disciplines of hard enduro, enduro, motocross and trial to around 80 enduro riders from Germany and Austria.
The grounds of the MCC Röhrnbach-Reisersberg provided the setting for MOTOREX DIRT MANIA 2025, with glorious weather and ideal driving conditions. With a motocross track, more than six kilometres of enduro trails, trial terrain and endurocross sections with artificial obstacles, it had everything the trainers and participants needed for an intensive and enjoyable training session.
This year saw a new, particularly close partnership established with the motorcycle manufacturer Sherco, which actively supported the event. In particular, this included the provision of up-to-date trial machines, which were specifically used for technical training in selected sections. The collaboration with Sherco enabled an even more versatile and high-quality training experience for all participants.
The special thing about MOTOREX DIRT MANIA is that the riders – from beginners to professionals – receive intensive riding skills training from the professionals supported by MOTOREX. This year, Manuel Lettenbichler (multiple and reigning FIM Hard Enduro World Champion), Marcus Kehr (German Enduro Record-holding Champion), Felix Melnikoff (reigning German Junior Enduro Vice-Champion), Felix Heller (trial specialist) and Vanessa Danz (German Enduro Champion 2023) travelled as a team of trainers.
A special highlight of the event, which only takes place once a year, was that each participant received coaching from all the trainers throughout the day. “I’m thrilled – I’ve learned something from each of the trainers. I rode obstacles today that I would never have dared to attempt before,” said one of the 80 or so enthusiastic participants.
“The opportunity to try out the Sherco trial motorbikes here as part of the training was also fantastic. I had a hard time on the enduro to begin with, then I practised the stage on the trial bike, which was much easier, and then I was able to put what I had learned into practice when I went back on the enduro, and that was great”, said one of the female participants.
The reigning downhill ski world champion Franjo Van Allmen also took part in the training and was impressed:
However, it was not only the many individual and valuable tips from the trainers that went down well; the participants also loved the site itself: “There are so many opportunities here, even in our fourth year here in Reisersberg, we were able to train new skills that we hadn’t practised before. Some new obstacles and sections have also been added. As a trainer, it was particularly great to see how much the participants improved over the course of the day”, says Manuel Lettenbichler.
After a hot lunch, Lettenbichler and Heller demonstrated their driving skills – much to the participants' delight, leaving them wide-eyed and amazed – before they started their second training session in the afternoon.
The big finale to the day was the MOTOREX Slow Race, which once again required full concentration and skill. It was not speed that mattered here, but precision – a real test of technique, balance, nerves and complete control of your body. On the Sherco trial motorcycles, the aim was to ride as slowly as possible without losing your balance. Only those who demonstrated the utmost control over the machine and their own body could prevail. The best riders were rewarded with top non-cash prizes from MOTOREX. New this year was the daily “Most Advanced Rider” award, which was given to participants who made the greatest progress during training.
Another MOTOREX DIRT MANIA is, of course, being planned for 2026. The date and venue have not yet been determined, but they will be announced in good time via the specialist press and MOTOREX social media channels.
