MOTOREX is adding the fully synthetic CONCEPT X-C5 SAE 0W/20 to its successful product range of CONCEPT motor oils. This super low-friction lubricant helps save considerably on fuel and reduces pollutant emissions.

With the new CONCEPT X-C5 SAE 0W/20, MOTOREX is introducing a fully synthetic, super low-friction motor oil for all combustion engines with the latest exhaust gas after-treatment systems. It is suitable for petrol and diesel, as well as CNG, LPG and hybrid drives. 

Thanks to its super low-friction viscosity, the new CONCEPT X-C5 SAE 0W/20 achieves a short lubrication rise time. Specially-manufactured fully synthetic base fluids in combination with valuable high-performance additives guarantee maximum lubrication reliability and optimum wear protection under all operating conditions. Using CONCEPT X-C5 SAE 0W/20 can also reduce fuel consumption – in turn reducing the vehicle's CO2 emissions.

The suffix C5 indicates its conformity to the relevant lubricant category of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA). The ACEA C5 specification applies to motor oils with very low viscosity and excellent flow capacity. 

Another outstanding feature is the pioneering low-SAPS technology of this new super low-friction oil. Due to its special formulation, it is particularly low in sulphate ash (SA), phosphorus (P) and sulphur (S) content – hence the acronym. Low-SAPS lubricants are a key prerequisite for the use of the latest catalytic converters and particulate filters. To give some context, motor oils with conventional ash formation would clog the fine pores of a diesel particulate filter or the fins of a catalytic converter and drastically shorten their service life. Phosphorus and sulphur are also considered 'toxic' to catalytic converters, as they neutralise surfaces and disarm their exhaust gas detoxification capabilities. MOTOREX CONCEPT X-C5 SAE 0W/20 is therefore formulated and tested for engines with the latest exhaust gas after-treatment systems. 

The new MOTOREX CONCEPT X-C5 SAE 0W/20 complies with ACEA C5-21, ACEA C6-21, API SP specifications and meets the strict requirements of the PSA Peugeot-Citroën Group, among others. 

It can be mixed with all common motor oils of the same performance class. Oil and filter changes must be carried out according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications. CONCEPT X-C5 SAE 0W/20 is part of MOTOREX's CAR LINE, which incorporates all of the Swiss premium manufacturer's high-quality lubricants and care products for the automotive sector. The new CONCEPT X-C5 SAE 0W/20 is available in 200-litre drums and the 20-litre bag-in-box for professional use, as well as in 1-litre bottles for private use.
