The lubricating properties of the thin TYRE MOUNTING FLUID reduce the amount of force needed for mounting and removing tyres. The fluid also reduces the breakaway torque when pumping the tyre up after mounting. As a result, the tyre slides onto the rim with minimal pressure, with a noticeably quieter contact with the rim flange.

The rapid evaporation of one of the fluid components allows for a quick drying time.
